Explore the folklore and spirits of the "River People" with a guided tour.  "Spirits of the River" live theatrical tour with the Spirit of Emily Allain will take you back to the days when Boiestown was a thriving lumbering tow.  If you can pre-book it would be greatly appreciated, if not we will do our best to accommodate you.  See information below.

This 1 1/2 to 2 hour tour will have you rolling with laugher, a tear dripping down your cheek,
singing for joy, tapping your toes, and all the while reliving the days when Boiestown was a booming lumbering town, Duffy's Hotel was the place to stay, and the Whooper Train was

    Come sit around our fire and enjoy our food, our songs, and a blessing.  Learn about the journey of our our people at Metepenagiag Heritage Park, Metepenagiag First Nation, (Red Bank) NB.

Live Theatrical Tour with the Spirit of Marie Jaqueline Bellefonatina at the Acadian Camp D’Esperance at Beaubears Island Interpretive Centre, Miramichi – Tel:  506-622-8526.
Come to hear the harrowing story of one Acadian woman who was forced to leave her home in the Deportation of 1755. While thousands of Acadians sought refuge at Wilson's Point in the winter of 1756, hundreds did not live to see the spring. Marie Jacqueline Bellefontaine tells her story of survival.

The Woodmen's Museum welcomes Motor Coach Tours.  Our parking lot has parking for tour buses with plenty of room for turning, our Welcome Centre has plenty of space to accommodate your group, the site has benches and picnic tables for a little rest, we can provide a tour guide or you can tour on your own, we offer catering services for a snack or lunch; or, Enjoy a delicious "Salmon Dinner" or "Traditional Lumberjack Dinner" in our spacious "Cedar Room" (accommodates 140 people seated).  We can also provide LOCAL Entertainment during your meal.  AND, the bus driver and tour guide receive FREE ADMISSION and a FREE MEAL.

AND, we always throw in a little surpise in our COOKHOUSE!
