Come to hear the harrowing story of one Acadian woman who was forced to leave her home in the Deportation of 1755. While thousands of Acadians sought refuge at Wilson's Point in the winter of 1756, hundreds did not live to see the spring. The Woodmen's Museum welcomes Motor Coach Tours.  Our parking lot has parking for tour buses with plenty of room for turning, our Welcome Centre has plenty of space to accommodate your group, the site has benches and picnic tables for a little rest, we can provide a tour guide or you can tour on your own, we offer catering services for a snack or lunch; or, Enjoy a delicious "Salmon Dinner" or "Traditional Lumberjack Dinner" in our spacious "Cedar Room" (accommodates 140 people seated).  We can also provide LOCAL Entertainment during your meal.  AND, the bus driver and tour guide receive FREE ADMISSION and a FREE MEAL. AND, we always throw in a little surpise in our COOKHOUSE!
